Channel Islands Sark Old Tuck's Oilette Picture Postcard. Rocks, Dixcart Bay, Sark. Illustrated by Henry B. Wimbush (A.&C. Black) / The old legends of enchanted islands are irresistibly recalled as one gazes at Sark. This "Garden of Cymodoce," as Swinburne calls it, is by far the loveliest and least spoilt of the Channel Islands, and Dixcart Bay is one of its loveliest spots. Two sides of the bay consist of lofty cliffs, and it is a favourite bathing place for ladies.
