Background: The Rhinoceros inhabits tropical Africa & Asia and feeds upon foliage and grass. It is related to the horse family, and there are several different kinds. The Indian Rhinoceros lives in the jungles of Northern India and has only one horn. Its thick skin is jointed at the shoulders and loins to allow movement of the head and limbs. Although heavy and ungainly the animal can run at considerable speed.
