The Jahangiri Mahal and Inscriptions, Agra. - Palace of Red Sand Stone, founded by Emperor Akbar & Completed by his son Jahangir, in 1611 A.D. / Founded by Akbar and completed by Jahan Gir in 1611. Was originally a two story Palace of red sand stone with 7 courts open to the sky and a 3 storied octagonal tower at each outer and an octagonally shaped gateway at the centre of its west facade is 261 feet north and south 288 feet, length 192 feet.
