Tomb built by Malak Fakhruddin Juna son of Tughlaq in 1307 A.D., and Fort built by him in 1303 A.D. Tughlaqabad is about four miles from Qutub Minar. This was founded by the stern old warrior Ghaziuddin in A.D. 1325 and this was the Fort Capital City in succession of the Empire of Delhi. It has 52 Gates and 56 bastions. This is a gigantic Fort of Egyptian solidity.

Background: Tughlaqabad Fort is a ruined fort in Delhi, stretching over 6 km, built by Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq, the founder of Tughlaq dynasty, of the Delhi Sultanate of India in 1321, as he established the third historic city of Delhi, which was later abandoned in 1327.
