The Cathedral of Ste Gudule Brussels, Street Scene. / The Cathedral of Ste Gudule is a magnificent building of Gothic architecture. The first church of St. Gudule was erected early in the eleventh century, and stood on the spot now occupied by the nave. The present building dates back from the 13th century, and suffered at the hands of the Reformers during the religious troubles of the 16th century.
