Vintage Frith's Colour Postcard. Dunster Castle and Keep. / Dunster Castle is the historical home of the Luttrell family located in the small town of Dunster, Somerset. Colonel Sir Walter Luttrell gave it to the National Trust in 1976. Dunster is a village in north west Somerset, England, situated on the Bristol Channel coast three miles east of Minehead and 25 miles north west of Taunton.

Vintage B/W Real Photo Postcard. The Yarn Market, Dunster. Built in the 17th Century - this quaint octagonal building was where - in the old days - the famous Dunster Cloths were sold. It is lighted by 8 dormer windows and a lantern at the top - The wide over-hanging eaves give added character to the picturesque old building. / The Yarn Market, Dunster stands at the north end of High Street, an octagonal building, a curious structure of wood covered with slates with eight dormer windows. One of its Timbers was pierced by a cannon ball when the Castle was besieged in 1646. Restored in 1647, date upon weather vane. Dunsters or Kerseymere cloths were sold here. Dunster is a village in north west Somerset, England, situated on the Bristol Channel coast three miles east of Minehead and 25 miles north west of Taunton. The village has a population of 860 (2001).
