The Avro Biplane. This was perhaps the first really good tractor biplane, and for its power (80 h.p. rotary motor), it is still a very efficient two-seater. It was used a good deal at the beginning of the War, especially by the Navy, for bombing raids and fighting, but is now (1918) used in large numbers as a training machine.
