E. 14th and Sherman Street - Denver. The Cheyennes were nomads of Colorado's eastern plains. In a temporary village beside a stream they engaged in peaceful pursuits. When the horses had cropped the surrounding grass, the Indians struck their tepees and moved the camp to a new location.
