Sailing Vessel Schooner Two-Decked Line of Battleship Artist Signed Old PostcardVintage Old Art Drawn Old Postcard. Artist Signed. Shipping. Boating, Sailing Boat, Sailing Vessel. Schooner. Two-Decked Line of Battleship - the type of warship built after the Napoleonic Wars - carrying 80 guns. Both stern and bow designs were improvements on earlier vessels. The old square stern (seen in the "Victory") was changed to a round form giving more protection, and the old beak bow surmounted by a square bulkhead, became a high bow. Sir Robert Seppings and Sir William Symonds were responsible for many of the improved designs.Publisher: R.S. Art Press
