Japan Ella Du Cane 1924 Old Tuck's Postcard A Shrine at Kyomidzu Bridge Blossoms

Vintage Art Drawn Colour Old Picture Postcard, Tuck's Oilette Flowers and Gardens of Japan. Souvenir Japan-British Exhibition 1910. Japanese Garden. Stone Lanterns. Bridge. Cherry blossoms. Blooming Trees. A Shrine at Kyomidzu. Artist Signed by Ella du Cane. 1924. The temple gardens of Japan are secluded spots, and peaceful, they are mementoes of Japan of the past. Perhaps little remains of the original gardens, but the stones are still the same tempered by time and possibly beautified. No temple or shrine would be complete without some votive offerings, often are seen, therefore, large bronze lanterns which seem to be a part of the temple itself. KG5 1d
