Wormshill Post Office dates back to 1847 and was for a time the oldest such office in England. It closed on October 1 1976. Records can be seen in the National Postal Museum.
The Sittingbourne Postbus has travelled each weekday to Highsted, Frinsted, Milstead and Wormshill since March 4 1974.
