Vintage Colour Old Postcard, 1905. Jamaique British West Indies B.W.I., Greetings from Jamaica. TITCHFIELD HOTEL. Postally Used from Kingston to Anvers (Antwerp) Belgium. Sent from Kingston to Anvers Belgium. Titchfield Hotel, once owned by famous Hollywood swashbuckler Errol Flynn, was built by Lorenzo Dow Baker on Titchfield Hill in the early 1900s. In 1905, it was said that "no hotel this side of the Atlantic is provided with more of those conveniences that minister so largely to the pleasure of travellers." This original hotel was destroyed by fire in the late 1960s.
