No. 14. Nguong Saui is one of the gods or patron deities worshipped by Chinese play-actors, and is often referred to as the original composer of theatrical ballads. He is usually represented by a small wooden image, which is worshipped by the actors at their homes, where they burn incense and candles in his honour.
