Yorkshire Postcard - WHITBY St. Mary's Church Interior

St. Mary's, Whitby, is a famous and almost unique survival of development from 12th to 20th century. The Lord of the Manor's pew (c.1612) crosses a Norman Chancel arch, and the free-standing three decker pulpit (1778) dominates the auditory interior.
