Vintage Colour Postcard. Mount Hood at Sunrise from Lost Lake, Oregon. Mountains. Altitude 11,942 feet. This remarkable view accurs at 2 seasons of the year, when the sun rises directly behind the mountain peak, illuminating the sky and giving a golden reflection on Lost Lake. On a certain day in the fall the sun in rising follows the north outline of the mountain slope and appears to roll up the mountain side.
