TIGERS Animals 1925 Old Colour ART Postcard Man-EatersEarly Colour Postcard. The Tiger, which is as large and powerful as the lion, is found only in Asia, where it ranges from India and Sumatra to Mongolia and Turkestan. Its beautiful colouring is adapted for concealment in reed-beds and bamboo jungles, where it preys upon deer and other animals. Man-eaters are mostly old tigers, which find men easier victims than their habitual prey.Publisher: Natural History Series 656 Set No.1, Description by R. I. Pocock, F.R.S. F.I.S. of the Zoological Gardens, A. M. Davis & Co.
