THREE CROWNS BREWERY Devizes Decorations 1911 PostcardVintage Colour Picture Postcard, Decorations at the Three Crowns Brewery Devizes on Coronation Day June 22nd 1911. This was regarded by many as being one of the prettiest and most effective decorations in the West of England. Mrs. Phipp, who carried out the scheme, had been working since the beginning of the year making the flowers, & c., and there were nearly 6000 separate blooms used. The four windows represent Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The decorative scheme was greatly admired, not only by towns people but by visitors.Publisher: Edmonds & Co.
