Background: This gives a fine view of the choir and its beautiful reredos of Parian marble, also some of Salviati's great mosaics in the spandrels of the dome. The pulpit of coloured marbles is very beautiful, and was erected to the memory of Captain Fitzgerald. The vaultings and walls of the choir are in glass mosaic by Richmond.
