Sent to Becks. KEVII 1/2d Seymour Hicks (1871–1949) was a British actor, music hall performer, playwright, screenwriter, theatre manager and producer. He married the actress Ellaline Terriss in 1893. Hicks was the first British actor to perform in France during both World War I and World War II, and received the Croix de Guerre twice for his services. He was knighted in 1935. Published by J.
