It was recognized as perhaps the most beautiful individual building at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition Exhibition and has become world famous for its architecture and coloring. At the close of the Exposition in response to a very general public demand it was retained permanently for the city. This picture shows a partial view of the Rotunda. The octagonal dome is the center of the semi-circular form of the main building. Bruno Louis zimm contributed the panels at the top of the Rotunda, depicting the struggle necessary to the attainment of ideals.Publisher: Pacific Novelty Co.
