Background: Paula Wessely (1907-2000), Austrian Actress. Austria's foremost popular postwar actress. 1938 she was the speaking voice of Snow White in Disney's "Snow White and the seven Dwarfs" in the first German dubbing. One of her 3 daughters, Christiane Hörbiger, became one of the most popular German and Austrian actresses. She was the last of a group of most popular Austrian actors and actresses of the 20th century.
