Background: Geiranger is a small tourist town in the western part of Norway in the region called Sunnm�re in the municiple of Stranda. It is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet. The area is soon to be added to the World Heritage List. The largest hotel is Union Hotel, which is also the largest hotel in western Norway.
