Locomotive Train ENGINE Postcard Old Steam - LNER 8021Early B/W Postcard. Train. Railway. Vintage Steam L.N.E.R. LNER 8021 (Great Eastern) 4-4-0 No. 8021. These engines, class T19, were originally built as a class of 110 rather ungainly 2-4-0's, whose appearance was later improved when converted to 4-4-0's by the fitting of a leading bogie, while superheating gave them a better performance. The first was scrapped in 1922, but twenty-two years elapsed before all had disappeared.Publisher: J. Arthur Dixon Dickinson Robinson Squirrel trademark. Photo by M. D. England.
