Jama Masjid Agra Old Postcard Ramzan Last Friday Prayer1927 - 13.2.27 India Vintage British Indian Picture Post card. Built by Emperor Akbar in 166. Built of red sand stone by Jahan-Ara begun the eldest daughter of Shahjahan in 1648 A.D. at a cost of 5 lakh rupees exclusive material etc. And completed in a period of 5 years. The entire portion of the building is alternately inland with marble and slates. It has a basement of 320 ft by 270 ft by 11 ft high and is built of red sand stone.
