India Old TUCK's Postcard AGRA White Majestic TAJ MAHAL

Early Indian Picture Post card. Artist Painting Style. The Taj. Agra. The beautiful gardens in which this exquisite mausoleum stands, are laid out in formal style. The principal approach, which has a marble watercourse, interrupted in the middle by a marble platform, leads directly to the Taj, which rises in all its peerless beauty at the end, its marble walls, dome and minarets mirrored in the water below. This superb Islamic tomb-house was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan to receive the body of his beloved Mumlaz-i-Mahal (1630 A.D.).
