India Old Postcard General View PEARL MOSQUE Diwan-i-AmVintage British Indian Picture Postcard, The General View of Pearl Mosque and Diwan-i-Am. Gardens. Cannons. / Arc centre of the Hall of public audience probably completed by Shah Jahan in 1685. 500 by 370 feet surrounded by arcades and is of red sand stone, but white polished stucco covers its pillars arches and ceiling, which gives their probable appearance and there is a b~auli of 26 feet in diameter and above it with a highly ornated facade is the throne room resembling an alcove in the back wall, which is plated with silver and ornamented with 4 silver lions spangled with jewells which supported a canopy of pure gold.Publisher: H.
