Hertfordshire 1906 KE7 Old Postcard - ST. ALBANS ABBEY

Background: St Albans Abbey was an abbey at St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, dissolved in 1539 during the Dissolution of the Monasteries. The only surviving buildings are the Abbey gateway, which was later used as a prison and is now part of St Albans School, and the Abbey church which is now St Albans Cathedral.
