Vintage Artist Signed Art Drawn Colour Postcard. Robert Raikes House, Gloucester. It is a fine specimen of the medieval timbered house, situated in Southgate Street. Here on September 14th 1735, was born Robert Raikes, the founder of the Sunday School as now known. He died on 5th April 1811. From an original drawing / painting by By Charles E. Flower.
